Amanda has been with Four Reasons Why since it was established in 2017 as the treasurer.  Amanda  comes from a banking background of 20 years and now currently in property management for the last 8 years.

“I wanted to be part of Four Reasons Why as I had followed Trudi’s story and just loved the idea of being part of a charity that helped local people and our local youth, to help encourage people to break the cycle and have the opportunities and future they deserve.”

TRUDI Shelton

I am a local single mother who is extremely passionate about my community and being of service to others. As someone who has experienced hardship and trauma I know how tough life situations can be at times. Now that I am back on my feet I decided it was time to give back to my generous and caring community by helping others in need to get back on theirs.

I am a Pastoral Care Worker and Youth Worker by profession which gives me an understanding of the needs in our community and where to direct the financial or gift assistance and “life” supports that families, individuals, homeless persons, aged and disability persons need.

My community services professional skills, my passion to help and the drive of being an example to my children are what makes me a dynamic, creative benevolent force in my community and I absolutely love it. I appreciate the privilege I am afforded to those who open their homes and hearts to receiving along with those that give generously.

Together in kindness we grow and thrive.

I am a single mother of four and they are my reasons why.

David Burt

David has a history of work primarily in the education industry spanning a period over 30 years. He has also served in various community groups and including Rotary and Regional Road Safety.

In recent history, David has worked closely with Four Reasons Why to improve outcomes for young people through his work at the Independent Learning Centre. Students have both received assistance from Four Reasons Why and supported the organisation through fundraising and practical support.

David is passionate and determined about the seeing all members of our community having the opportunity to thrive.

Rob Stafford

Rob joined Four Reasons Why as Secretary in 2023.   She has worked in the University sector for the past 7 years in Professional administrative roles supporting health professionals and students in rural SA, following on from 25+ years in the South East’s Timber industry.

“Joining the Four Reasons Why board was the next step for me, expanding on my current volunteer roles in the community. I love that our community is so generous.  It’s honestly inspiring when you look at how many times local businesses and individuals will put their hand up to help.

Put simply, Four Reasons Why is about compassion, kindness and generosity and they’re the values that are most important to me in life.  Who wouldn’t want to be part of that?”

Marg Morris

My name is Margaret Morris newest board member of Four Reasons Why.
